Our product offers the possibility to receive a scheduled data export via API, which is called Raw Data export, that requires an Analytics ID and an API key. If you are interested in activating it, please confirm first with your Customer Success manager.
Note:
Raw Data Export availability depends on your product and plan. If you are on the Usercentrics Web & App Product, this feature is available as a premium add-on for Premium Customers. If you are on the Usercentrics Platform (latest version), a Corporate plan is required. Check out our pricing page or reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more details.
About the technical specifications of this feature, please refer to: Analytics Data Export Service. You can open a request to activate this service by opening a ticket to our support with these specifications:
- Configuration or configurations that need to be included in the report
- Type of aggregation (interaction or granular)
- Frequency (daily, weekly or monthly)
- Owner email (user of the configuration or company)
- Company name
Once this request is received, the tech support agent will have to go through a verification process to make sure that the access credentials are being shared with a trusted user. First of all, it will verify whether the requesting user is one of the users of the mentioned configurations or the company that owns the configuration. Second, the tech agent will need to have a registered phone number linked to the user. This is essential for the next steps, as the credentials will be shared as follows:
- Analytics ID will be shared in the Zendesk ticket
- API Key will be shared only with a trusted user via a confidential email accessible through an SMS passcode.
If the user is in the configuration/company but does not have a verified phone number, we will send a confidential email requesting a phone number. Once verification is complete and the phone number received, the credentials will be created and shared via Zendesk and the confidential email protected by a passcode shared via SMS.
Due to the verification process, before opening a request to create a data export service, please check that:
- The service is included in our plan (discuss with CSM)
- That your user has access to the configuration or the company
- That you have a phone number that can be used to share the SMS passcode
Please be aware that confidential emails will have an expiration date set to 24 hours; therefor,e after that period of time they will not be accessible even with the correct passcode.
How to open a confidential email protected by a passcode.
Access credentials will be shared only via a confidential email, accessible via SMS passcode, to ensure that these are shared with the correct user and will not be visible to external people, in order to ensure the highest security standard.
The confidential email will be forwarded to your email inbox as usual. To read it:
- Open it and click on “View the email”
- Send the passcode
- Enter it in the input field.
- Access the email.
Confidential emails cannot be forwarded or copied and it will require a passcode every time you try to access the email, therefore make sure that the recipient is the user that will use the API key to set up the service.
