Nowadays, data no longer comes only from surveys or manual user input, but is generated every time a user interacts with digital media. The data collected in this way is then initially available as raw data in an incomprehensible, unreadable form and is then processed by so-called Data Processing Services (DPS).
Well-known examples of such services are technologies such as reCAPTCHA, PayPal, YouTube, Facebook, or Google technologies such as Google Ads.
How do I add data processing services to my CMP?
Data processing services can be found and added to the consent banner with the help of the DPS Scanner. You can initiate a website scan using the Initiate Website Scan, which can find on the DPS Scanner in the Services Settings section
Data processing services can also be added on the Data Processing Services tab in the Service Settings section
Adding a Data Processing Services doesn't automatically block a script
Services added to your configuration require additional adjustments to block them until your users consent. Follow our step-by-step guide to adjust the integrated services directly in the website code or in your tag manager.
