You can add additional users to your company and/or configurations in the Account Interface.
Manage Access for your Company
To manage user access privileges, select User Management in the main menu and click the Manage Access button.
A dialog will open which allows you to add additional users or change the privileges of existing users.
Please note
Users added to a Company will automatically have access to all Configurations that are added to that Company.
To add a user, enter their email address in the email * field and selecting their access level (Admin, Write, or Read) in the Permission * field.
Once you've entered these values you can create the user by clicking the Add button.
The newly added user must then sign-up via our Account Interface. Here they must register a user account and follow the steps indicated, before he/she can access the Company/Configuration.
To edit an existing user's permissions, expand the Company Access section and click on the three dots next to the user. You can then select a new access level, or completely remove the user.
Please note
When a Company or Configuration is removed, the currently logged-in user becomes Admin for all settings belonging to that Company by default.
Manage Access for a Configuration
You can also add users and set permissions on the Configuration level.
To do so, select Configurations from the main menu and click on the three dots next to the Configuration you want to manage access for and and select Manage Access.
A dialog will surface which provides an overview of users with access to this configuration and their respective permissions.
You can also add new users and manage permissions for existing users.
Please note
You can't overwrite a Company admin's permissions on the Configuration level. I.e. users that have Admin permissions for your Company will automatically be assigned admin rights to all of the Company's Configurations.
Roles breakdown
ADMIN
- Create, edit or delete a company
- Add or remove settings from the company
- Manage permissions for the company and settings
- Full access to all settings belonging to the company. Permissions for settings can be managed from permission management service whereas all other configurations related to the settings can be done from the setting itself
→ The logged-in user who creates the company automatically becomes admin of that company.
→ You cannot remove admin permission from yourself. This can only be done by another admin.
WRITE
- Full access to all settings belonging to the company
- Permissions for settings can be managed from permission management service whereas all other configurations related to the settings can be done from the setting itself
READ
- View all settings assigned to the company
