- Select TCF 2.2 and click the Next button.
- Name your new TCF configuration, enter the domain on which you intend to implement the consent banner, enter the name of the data controller in your company, and click the Create Configuration button.
Configuring your TCF configuration
While TCF works "out of the box", it's a good idea to configure it so your consent banner doesn't as for consent for things you don't use.
To get started, go to your configurations under https://account.usercentics.eu/ and select your TCF configuration.
Resurfacing the consent banner
You can configure your banner to resurface whenever a change occurs. For example when you add a new vendor, or if a vendor changes their terms of use.
To configure these settings, select Configuration from the main menu and select the Legal Specifications tab.
Configuring vendors, features, and purposes
It's of vital importance that you correctly configure TCF to ensure you can pass consent data to your ad partners, while not listing hundreds of partners on your banner which you don't actually need to ask consent for.
To configure these settings. select Service Settings and select the Global Vendor List tab.
In the Global Vendor List section find and select the ad vendors you use, leaving all others unchecked.
Below the vendors you will find an optional setting called Stacks.
Stacks are similar to presets, and as log as they don't conflict you can choose several.
Here is an overview of the 11 purposes defined under TCF 2.2:
